Warner Robins approves 15-acre affordable housing development, rezoning project [Video]

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — City leaders approved rezoning for two new housing developments, including a major 15-acre project that aims to provide more attainable housing options as Warner Robins continues its rapid growth.

The larger development, located at the corner of Southland Station and Tallulah Trail, will transform wooded land into a townhome community. The project comes as housing costs in the area continue to climb, with average home prices now exceeding $250,000 according to Zillow.

“Having developers that buy into that vision or even pioneer their own vision is just phenomenal,” Warner Robins Mayor LaRhonda Patrick said. “I love having that aspect of coming together as a community to support our entire community.”
