ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Allentown Planning Commission granted land development plan approval for a proposed warehouse project Tuesday afternoon at city hall.
The applicant, MSL Consulting and Design, is offering a facility registering just over 7,000 square feet, which would be served typically by 20-to-25-foot box and pickup trucks at 1401 Green St.
Tractor-trailers are not expected. There will be a sidewalk on Green Street.
Officer election
During the meeting, the planning commission elected new officers for 2025. Christian Brown was reelected as the commission’s chairman, while Craig Beavers was elected as vice chairman.
Northridge postponed
Two land development proposals involving the former Allentown State Hospital’s redevelopment were postponed.
Offered by City Center Investment Corp. and known as the Northridge project, the commission was scheduled to review land development plans for a proposed Allentown School District school complex within the development and lot consolidation for the Northridge project.
