A WALMART customer was left baffled after a negative self-checkout experience this month.
They encountered long lines with their partner at the kiosks on a standard shopping day that reminded them of holiday rushes.
“At Super Walmart today. Didn’t get much but got to self-checkout and it was lined up like Black Friday,” the shopper, Brent, wrote in post to X.
After spending a while in the self-checkout line with little movement, Brent noted that he and his wife decided to seek a cashiered checkout instead.
Few were available, and as a result, the pair still waited to leave with their items for a short while.
They each speculated over the reasoning behind the checkout complications, and Brent criticized Walmart for the lack of staff assistance available.
