The grand opening will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25 in the pool building, located at the Doris Miller Community Center at 1020 Elm Ave.
According to the City, the updated indoor facility has four competitive lanes and space for fitness classes, swim lessons and community programs.
Members of the public are invited to attend the grand opening as the City hosts a ribbon cutting ceremony, refreshments, giveaways and free open swim. Guests will also reportedly be able to explore the upgraded facility and learn more about upcoming programming.
“This exciting milestone highlights the City of Waco’s commitment to enhancing community spaces, and we can’t wait to share it with you,” said the City in a statement.
