Context
This project intends to find a new way to connect people to ADHD, a condition often stereotyped as merely a child bouncing off the walls, when in reality, it encompasses much more. This has led to many folks I know to be misrepresented. Through this research project, I set out to find a proper visual representation for of what it is like to live with ADHD.
Methodology
The project started with a workshop where people with ADHD shared their experiences with the disorder. The participants used highlighters to mirror the vibrant emotions of ADHD and painted a collective image of the disorder. With this as a base, I designed a publication where I share my experiences with the disorder, using the tagline ‘Empathy Through Experience’.
