NORFOLK, Va. — The Department of Defense is hosting a virtual hiring fair for military spouses, to help them connect with hiring managers and representatives from more than 700 employers.
It’s part of a series of free virtual events, including a symposium, and webinar series, that started May 14 and runs until May 30. The events throughout the month aimed to assist military spouses in achieving their career goals.
Throughout the sessions spouses get the opportunity to work with professionals to improve their resume, master networking techniques, tips to navigate through remote work, negotiation tactics, and more.
