VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – The Vigo County YMCA is preparing for its 2024 Inspiration Gala Fundraiser.
There will be guest speakers who will be talking all things baseball. Plus, there will be silent and live auctions.
The Vigo County YMCA is preparing for its 2024 Inspiration Gala Fundraiser.
Money raised from the event will go straight to The Y’s scholarship program; it allows local, underserved families the ability to take part in kids programming, child care, and summer camps for free.
“So, we give out well over $150,000 of scholarships every year. We typically raise between $80,000 and $100,000, so we’ve got to meet that gap somewhere,” said Sam Albrecht, Director of the Vigo County YMCA.
The Inspiration Gala is happening on November 2 from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Terre Haute Convention Center.
