THOUSANDS of drivers have descended on the world’s longest, football field-length car wash.
Videos inside the giant cleaner show multicolored displays and heaps of cleaners – but social media commenters remain perplexed about the car wash’s five-minute duration and the amount of soapy suds thrown at vehicles.
Buc-ee’s, a Texas-based chain of gas stations, convenience stores, and electric vehicle charging hubs, has the longest car wash in the world, according to Houston-based ABC affiliate KTRK-TV.
The scrubber is massive. It spans 255 feet and has dozens of fragrant soap applicators and multiple spinning brushes.
It even has a light display of the store’s signature mascot projected onto each car’s windshield.
“You feel clean when you come out,” one driver told the station.
“There is so much soap!”
