Video of Clash Between Muslim Groups in Bangladesh Given a False Communal Twist [Video]

What’s the truth?: The video has been given a false context.

• Although it is from Bangladesh, it shows a clash between to groups from the Muslim community.

How did we find out the truth?: We performed a reverse image search on some of the keyframes of the viral video and this led us to reports shared by Jamuna TV, Dhaka Tribune and The Daily Star.

• It stated that it shows an attack on shrines and not on Hindu temples.

• It also stated that this happened in Murshidpur Darbar Sharif in Sherpur, Bangladesh on 26 November 2024.
