Video: Billy Porter Talks Broadway for Harris on MSNBC’s THE WEEKEND [Video]

Billy Porter stopped by MSNBC’s The Weekend to discuss getting out the vote for Vice President Kamala Harris and Tim Walz this November alongside the Broadway community.

“What is on the ballot is democracy or not, period,” stated Porter. “It is important. Ancient democratic civilizations have fallen around 250 years. Rome fell, y’all. We have 248. What is it going to be?”

Broadway for Harris will host weekly phone banking events featuring Broadway stars between now and the election on November 5, as well as canvassing trips from NYC to Pennsylvania on select weekends.

Broadway for Harris is a volunteer coalition of industry professionals and theater enthusiasts united to elect Kamala Harris, Tim Walz and down ballot Democratic candidates this November.
