Video: 31-year-old Salt Lake man in serious condition after hit-and-run [Video]

After a 31-year-old man was struck by a car in Salt Lake City early Saturday, police say private security guards followed the driver and detained them for police.

Initial information suggests someone driving a black Audi hit the man, possibly as the man was starting to cross the street at 700 South and 600 West, according to a press release from Salt Lake City police department.
