Victoria 3 Announces New DLC Pivot of Empire, New 1.8 Update Introduces Discrimination System and More [Video]

On its second anniversary, strategy game Victoria 3 is getting an India-based DLC update called Pivot of Empire.

The Pivot of Empire DLC is set for release on November 21, 2024. This DLC includes a new region: the Indian subcontinent. The region will introduce new challenges, complexities, and more. The India-based DLC includes new events such as the death of Sher-e-Punjab (Ranjit Singh) and Indian Unification. It features characters like Jamshedji Tata, Bahadur Gurkani, and Ranjit Singh. The DLC also includes various cultures, such as Awadhi, Bengali, Hindustani, Telugu, and more. It will also add journal entries and events related to the Sikh Empire, East India Company, British Raj, and more.

In addition to the DLC update, Victoria 3 is also providing a free 1.8 update, which includes a new discrimination system, reworks for caste laws, and companies. New mechanics for harvest management will also be added to the game. …
