FRIENDSHIP, Wis. (WSAW) – A 38-year-old man is behind bars awaiting charges in the summer deaths of a mother and her adult son.
A press conference was held Friday announcing the arrest of Cory Beck, 38. Online court records show he’s been in the Adams County Jail since Thursday.
Adams County Sheriff Brent York said they are recommending Beck be charged with two counts of first-degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse in the deaths of Sharon Miller, 62, and her son, Jami Lumby, 38.
York said Beck’s DNA was found on numerous items of evidence collected during the investigation.
Their bodies were discovered on June 27 on a property in Strongs Prairie. Sheriff York said both died of blunt force trauma to the head.
