Veteran support service opens new Harrisburg location [Video]

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — JFT Recovery and Veterans’ Support Services has opened a new location in Harrisburg.

The company will offer the same services at its Lemoyne location, which include reentry support, recovery coaching, and mentorship, plus new services through a partnership with the nonprofit ‘A New Tomorrow.’

“We offer parenting classes, we offer budgeting classes, smart recovery, mentoring, workforce development, family reunification and anger management and trauma classes,” said Geri Forrest, CEO of A New Tomorrow.

“This means so much, the more we can get our services out, the better,” said Steve Barndt, the Executive Director of JFT Recovery and Veterans’ Support. “I’ve always wanted to come to Harrisburg.”

The new Harrisburg location is at 2019 Market Street.
