EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — One week after issuing a county-wide burn ban, commissioners in Vanderburgh County will meet to discuss extending the restrictions.
On August 29, the Board of Commissioners proclaimed an “open burn emergency” in an effort to protect the public and safety during the unusually dry conditions.
Today’s called special meeting is set to get underway at 11:15 a.m. inside the Evansville Civic Center.
