The Silent Hill 2 remake has received a positive reception from critics overall, but it seems that the most contentious corners of the fanbase aren’t thrilled with it. As spotted by Eurogamer, Wikipedia has had to lock down the remake’s page after a swarm of users vandalized the listed review scores.

During the weekend, the Silent Hill subreddit took notice of the incident. The Reception section of the Wikipedia page was the main target, which aggregates the percentage score of OpenCritic and GameSpot sister site Metacritic, as well as individual review scores from a few publications.
