Valley police departments issue warnings about ‘senior assassin’ [Video]

High school students are participating in a game called “Senior Assassin,” which uses water guns, and Valley police are warning communities to stay alert.

PHOENIX — High school students across the Valley are participating in a game using water guns called “Senior Assassin,” and Valley police departments are taking to social media to remind kids to have fun while being safe.

Several Valley police agencies have posted warnings about the “Senior Assassin” game. The game involves groups of teenagers competing to “eliminate” or “tag” one another by spraying each other with water guns. 

QCPD said parents should talk to their teens about the potential dangers associated with the game. 

  • Make sure the water guns being used do not look like real firearms and are brightly colored
  • Do not trespass on private property 
  • Do not play in business areas, especially parking lots
  • Never aim or shoot at people that you know are not involved in the game
