The University of Windsor has been ranked in the top 20 among Canadian universities in sustainability leadership, according to the 2024 QS World University Rankings.
UWindsor also landed in the top 20 per cent globally.
“The University’s ascent in global sustainability rankings is a testament to the transformative work happening across our campus,” said President Robert Gordon.
“From innovative research to meaningful collaborations with our community and industry partners, the University of Windsor is committed to driving sustainable solutions that extend beyond our institution.”
Since last year, the university jumped 300 spots, bringing them to 341 out of 1,751 institutions around the world.
“This achievement reflects the impactful strides the university community has taken toward a more sustainable, more equitable future,” said Gordon.
In other rankings, the University of Windsor placed 165th globally in equality, 240th in good governance, and 269th in environmental research.
