University of South Alabama gears up for new school year and expanded programs [Video]

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The final day of move-in at the University of South Alabama was full of energy as students, new and returning, got settled into their new homes. The university’s mascots, student organizations, and the Jaguar Marching Band were all on hand to help make the process smooth and exciting.

“I just think helping other students move in is a super awesome way to get to know each other, get to see new faces around campus and really spread the message that JMB is really here to help the university community,” said one of the university’s drum majors, Rivers Lewis.

He and Shannon Kille, another drum major on campus say they’re excited for the community to see what they have planned.
