University of Arizona, Tohono Oodham Community College partner up for public health pathway [Video]

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Students studying community and public health at Tohono O’odham Community College (TOCC) now have an easier pathway to apply for their Bachelor of Public Health at the University of Arizona’s Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health (U of A).

The venture started around one year ago when TOCC reached out to the U of A to see what partnership opportunities were available.

TOCC students earning their associates in Community and Public Health now have a transfer system to apply for their Bachelor of Public Health at the university – the only college in the state offering a program of this kind.

A large focus of implementing this effort is ensuring that any credits earned at TOCC carry over seamlessly to the U of A.
