The center will allow them to facilitate board meetings, events or trainings.
MIDLAND, Texas — The United Way of Midland broke ground Tuesday on a new conference and training center.
In 2022, United Way wanted to see what was needed in the community and how they can support non-profits.
Now, they’ll have a new center to facilitate board meetings, events or trainings.
“United Way takes pride in being a facilitator in the community and we can bring in nonprofits, everyone to table and solve problems. What this new building helps us do is enhance that,” said Emily Holeva, board chair for United Way of Midland. “We have a great foundation with United Way. So, with these tools and expertise we’ll be able to support more nonprofits in ways we haven’t before.”
The conference center is expected to open in the fall of 2025.
