Unconscious Woman Assaulted in Ambulance by First Responder: Police [Video]

A man working as an emergency responder in Florida has been arrested, accused of sexually assaulting an unconscious woman in his care.

An investigation by the Daytona Beach Police into James Melady, 37, a former employee of the Flagler County Fire Rescue, relating to other cases in their jurisdiction resulted in the discovery of a purported video according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office’s press release. Authorities say the footage shows Melady molesting an unconscious woman in the patient transport area of an ambulance in Flagler County in 2021.

The Sheriff’s Office says the alleged assault took place while the woman was being transported to a hospital in Palm Coast, and she was unaware of what took place.
