U.S. reaches plea deal with 9/11 mastermind, 2 accomplices [Video]

WASHINGTON (Gray DC) – Late Wednesday, the U.S. military announced plea agreements were reached with Khalid Shaikh Mohammad, Walid Muhammad Salih Mubarak Bin ‘Attash, and Mustafa Ahmed Adam al Hawsawi.

The three men are considered masterminds of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks that killed nearly 3,000 when planes were crashed in New York City, Washington, DC and Pennsylvania.

The announcement from the Pentagon said little, only that plea Agreements were reached with 9/11 defendants KSM, Bin ‘Attash and al Hawsawi.

The press release notes that the specific terms and conditions of the pre-trial agreements are not public at this time. Pre-trial proceedings before the military commissions at Guantanamo Bay were underway since mid-July.
