AUGUSTA, Maine (WABI) – It was a special day for students, faculty and alumni at the University of Maine at Augusta as they held a ceremony for their new Capital Center. The building will have be focused on the school’s nursing and cybersecurity programs.
It is located in the Marketplace at Augusta, right down the street from the school’s campus. The space will allow for increased enrollment in both programs and includes nursing simulators, labs and more.
They say this comes as the state of Maine is undergoing a lack in nurses and an increased general enrollment at U.M.A.
