Business professionals from numerous jobs around the community were paired with the students that aligned with their career choices. The professionals were offering the students a first-hand look at what their career pathway would look like and practical advice for entering the workforce.
One of those was Habitat for Humanity that had students excited about joining them in the near future.
“They’re helping people who need it like single mothers, families who can’t afford homes or repairs in their homes, because i came from a family like that also so that kind of stuck out to me the most,” Tyler Legacy High School student Sergio Contreras said.
