Two women set up rendezvous before killing man in Jackson motel room in custody [Video]

MAGEE, Miss. (WLBT) – Two women who were wanted in connection with the death of a man in a Jackson motel room have been arrested.

Monday morning, 30-year-old Jeremy Easterling was shot multiple times and died in a room at the Crown Motel, located off Boling Street near West Capitol Street.

Later that day, the Magee Police Department announced that two murder suspects out of Jackson were arrested near the Love’s Truck stop on Highway 49 South in Simpson County.

Tuesday during a press conference, Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade said that the people arrested, 25-year-old Arianna Expose and 34-year-old Angela Rhodes, were the two women wanted for the murder of Easterling.

Chief Wade further stated that the two women, “set up a rendezvous” with Easterling before they allegedly killed him. All three people are from Magee.

Expose and Rhodes are now in JPD custody and have been charged with murder.
