UPDATE:
Hawaii Island Police have arrested and charged a 14-year-old teen with burglary and other offenses following two incidents that occurred at two different school campuses in Hilo, on July 17, 2024.
On Friday afternoon, July 19, at 3:05 p.m., the Hawaii County Prosecutors office, Area I Juvenile Aid Section detectives charged the second teen with second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal property damage, fourth-degree criminal property damage, and two counts of fourth-degree theft.
In order to separate the two suspects, the second teen was released to his parent and issued a Notice to Appear in Family Court for Tuesday, July 23, at 8:30 a.m.
