RED LAKE, Minn. (Valley News Live) – The community of the Red Lake Department of Public Safety, and the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians say they are mourning the loss of two of their community members. Public Safety Officer Jesse Branch and Red Lake Band member Alan Lussier Jr. died in a crash Wednesday morning.
In a press release from the Red Lake Police Department, the two vehicle crash was happened on Highway 1 east of the Red Lake community.
The crash is still under investigation by the Minnesota State Highway Patrol and the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
