The airport and food bank are collaborating in support of New Haven’s fight against food insecurity.
NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Tweed-New Haven Airport has kicked off its annual holiday partnership with Connecticut Foodshare, continuing its commitment to supporting the Greater New Haven community.

In addition to the donation, airport leadership and staff volunteered their time to serve meals and pack backpacks with food for local students at the Community Soup Kitchen in New Haven. The annual event highlights the importance of community partnerships, especially during the holiday season.
“We’re thrilled to be part of this initiative,” said Michael Jones, CEO of the airport. “Food insecurity is a challenge for many, and we’re grateful to join Connecticut Foodshare and CSK in providing support for those in need.”
