BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – TVA recently finalized a draft of their Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) that would shape energy solutions through the year 2050. They are now seeking public input to complete the plan.
The draft plan contains information on how the energy conglomerate hopes to shape the region’s need for electricity in the future. It takes into account multiple scenarios for the region’s potential growth, energy consumption, and industrial development. The full draft IRP is available for review and comment on their website.
“We are in the draft phase, so we’re kind of in this public comment phase and would love to get input from the public. I mean that is really kind of the point of the process is to get feedback and reaction and input so that the final product of the IRP is really refined in the best possible way with that input in mind,” explained …
