TULSA, Okla. — The Summit and Tulsa Day Center hosted its annual Thanksgiving celebration on Tuesday, which provides people in need with an opportunity to celebrate the holidays.
“Every day our clients experience hardships. They are consumed with worries about basic survival such as shelter, food, water and clothing. Things many of us take for granted,” said Mack Haltom, CEO of Tulsa Day Center. “We are so grateful for this partnership with The Summit and the opportunity for our clients to have a premier Chef-made Thanksgiving meal beyond all expectations. This partnership gives our clients a few hours to be served, seen, relax and experience laughter, great music and a wonderful Thanksgiving meal.”
The Signature Symphony performed some festive music during this year’s celebration. Glacier Chocolates, Toni’s Flowers and Southern Agriculture also made contributions to the event.
