DOWNTOWN TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Area United Way (TAUW) held their Downtown Deco Challenge on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. to kick off their centennial fundraising drive.
The event was a free and family-friendly street party between 6th Street and Main Street downtown.
The event featured music, food, games, a bounce house and more.
“We are so excited for our Downtown Deco Challenge,” said President and CEO Alison Anthony. “It is our 100th year in this community and we wanted to do something to give back. This is a way people can give back.”
The Downtown Deco Challenge, sponsored by Price Family Properties, offered a unique opportunity for community engagement.
For every person who went through the event’s balloon arch, Price Family Properties donated $100 to TAUW, up to a total of $100,000.
