“Toastmasters is a fun way to get over your fear of public speaking! I visited the Top 5 Club and did get up and speak with the group. I was nervous but did feel better that I knew we were all in the same boat. It is a supportive community that prepares members for public speaking by delivering speeches, impromptu questions and giving constructive feedback. It is through this regular practice that members are empowered to meet personal and professional communication goals. I made it through my speaking but I could use more practice.”
