President-elect Donald Trump gave a sneak peek into who would join his next administration as he prepares to retake The White House.
In a post on his Truth Social, Trump said that former UN ambassador Nikki Haley and former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo would not be included in his second administration.
‘I will not be inviting former Ambassador Nikki Haley, or former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, to join the Trump Administration, which is currently in formation,’ Trump posted on social media.
‘I very much enjoyed and appreciated working with them previously, and would like to thank them for their service to our country.’
Haley, who received more Republican primary votes than anyone who challenged Trump, did not appear on the campaign trail for him despite repeatedly claiming she was ‘on standby.’
