Trump reacts to Newsom’s call for a ‘Trump-proof’ California [Video]

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Just days after the 2024 Election, the political feud between California’s Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom and now Republican President-elect Donald Trump has reigned as Trump is set to embark on his second term.

Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social to criticize Newsom for wanting to “Trump-proof” California.

Trump wrote that Newsom “is trying to KILL our Nation’s beautiful California…He is using the term “Trump-Proof” as a way of stopping all of the GREAT things that can be done to ‘Make California Great Again,’ but I just overwhelmingly won the Election.”

Trump went on to say that people are leaving California “due to (Newsom), & other’s, INSANE POLICY DECISIONS.”
