Trump Appoints Indian-American Entrepreneur Sriram Krishnan As Senior AI Policy Advisor At White House [Video]

US President-elect Donald Trump on Sunday named Sriram Krishnan, a close aide of billionaire Elon Musk and a former Microsoft employee, as the Senior Policy Advisor for Artificial Intelligence at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.

Taking to Truth Social, Trump said, “Sriram Krishnan will focus on ensuring continued American leadership in AI and help shape and coordinate AI policy across Government, including working with the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology.”

Reacting to his appointment, Sriram wrote on X, “I’m honoured to be able to serve our country and ensure continued American leadership in AI working closely with David Sacks.”
