Trail Blazers end TV partnership with ROOT [Video]

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – The Portland Trail Blazers have ended their tv broadcasting partnership with ROOT Sports.

The team confirmed the split in a short statement to FOX 12 on Wednesday afternoon.

“Trail Blazers basketball will no longer air on ROOT Sports, but we thank ROOT Sports for years of great partnership. An exciting announcement on the future television home of Blazers basketball will be made soon,” said Walt Scher, Director of Corporate Communications for the Blazers.
