Toyota donates mobile tire changing station to Shannon High School | Local [Video]

SHANNON, Miss. (WTVA) — Toyota Mississippi donated a mobile tire changing station to Shannon High School.

This will help students learn how to properly change a tire.

The plant’s Kaizen — Japanese word for “improvement” — team designed and built the mobile station.

Shannon High School career coach Dee Coleman said he approached Toyota with the idea and the Kaizen team built it in a month.

The company also donated $2,500 to the school for its workforce training program.
