PARADISE, Calif. – The town of Paradise continues to rebuild six years after the Park Fire burned down most of the town on that fateful day.
More than 18,000 buildings were destroyed by the Camp Fire, which started near Pulga and moved through parts of Concow and Magalia as it burned towards and into Paradise.
On the day of the Camp Fire, the population in Paradise was around 26,000. Paradise town councilmember Steve Crowder spoke with Action News Now about the effort underway to bring people back to the Ridge.
