CHESTER, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Our Touchstone Energy Scholar of the Week is from Wentworth and is a hard-working senior.
Arien Stalford started in the Chester Area School District as a 7th grader after his family moved from Kansas.
“Small town, you know most everyone, and if you need help with a teacher, you can go talk to them. You know the coaches. You know the community,” said Arien.
The 4.0 student became very involved in school activities.
“I am the football manager. I am in wrestling. I do golf and I am in theater,” said Arien. Arien
“I love having Arien. I’ve had him in all facets of education. I started having him as a wrestling manager when he was in 7th grade and then, 8th grade, 9th grade, and 10th grade I had him as a student as a wrestler, as a manager in football.
