FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) – Sunday, some people in the mid-Michigan community took part in a cornhole tournament, and it was all for a good cause.
It was all for the Tossing for Toys cornhole tournament.
The tournament was at the MACC Center on Franklin Avenue in Flint.
The event was open to all ages, and no prior cornhole experience was necessary to join in on the fun.
However, all those competing today were encouraged to bring one new unwrapped toy to participate in the tournament, as all the toys collected will benefit local children in need.
The tournament organizer explained to ABC 12 why he put on the event.
