TLOD, founded in 1964, is a national civic organization focused on addressing social issues, with an emphasis on youth development, education, and community service. The New Rock Chapter, which serves DeKalb, Henry, Newton, and Rockdale counties, has earned a reputation for its impactful programs and deep community involvement.

Dr. West Jenkins provided insight into some of the chapter’s key initiatives. One of the standout programs is Top Teens of America, which offers local teenagers a platform to grow as leaders, engage in community service, and excel academically.
