Tooele fair provides mental health resources to community [Video]

TOOELE, Utah — Toole community members gathered together at the Tooele City Park on Thursday for a fair focused on mental health resources.

With September being National Suicide Prevention Month, the fair aimed to provide resources and support to the community.

People who attended the event seemed to enjoy it said the co-hosts, Valley Behavioral Health and Molina Healthcare of Utah

The hosts said in a press release that many who attended expressed gratitude for the opportunity to connect with valuable mental health resources and services.

“This fair provided an opportunity for residents to connect with vital resources and services, helping them take proactive steps toward mental wellness during Suicide Prevention Month and beyond,” Valley Behavioral Health President Jared Sanford said in the release.

Brandon Hendrickson, the president of Molina Healthcare of Utah, said they were honored to co-host the event. He called the event “much-needed.”
