TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police arrested 127 people and seized 16 guns and $69,295 in drugs as part of an operation targeting east Toledo.
Operation Essex 3.0 began on Nov. 11 and will continue as the final Toledo Area Enhancement Method operation of the year, the police department said in a press release on Monday.
T.E.A.M. aims to improve the quality of life of Toledo residents, according to police, and the law enforcement arms of its initiatives aim to address gun violence, narcotics sales, blight and more.
