Toledo man points gun at victim during road rage incident on I-75 [Video]

The suspect, identified as a 34-year-old man from Toledo, stopped on I-75 in Erie Twp. and pointed an unregistered gun at the victim during the ‘road rage’ incident.

MONROE COUNTY, Mich. — A Toledo man is in jail after an alleged “road rage” incident involving an unregistered handgun Saturday afternoon in Monroe County.

The incident happened on northbound I-75 near the 4-mile marker in Erie Township, according to a press release from Monroe County Sheriff Troy Goodnough. Dispatch received a 911 call regarding what the sheriff’s office described as a “road rage” incident around 3:21 p.m. on Saturday.

The caller, who was also the victim, said that the driver of a white Dodge Durango stopped his vehicle in the road, exited and pointed a handgun at the victim.

Both the victim and another witness provided detailed descriptions of the suspect’s vehicle as it fled the scene heading northbound on I-75.
