MONROE, La. (KNOE) -The Louisiana Campaign for Tobacco-Free Living (TFL) announced the newest National Youth Ambassador for the 2024-2025 school year.
Jazlynn Barnett, of Tallulah and the president of the Prek-12 and Beyond Next Era group was chosen as the new National Youth Ambassador by the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids (CTFK).
Dr. Patricia Candler, of CTFK and TFL, chose Barnett to travel to DC for a week of intensive workshops focused on building relationships, promoting effective policies to reduce and prevent tobacco use, and engaging directly with legislators and decision-makers.
