Alix Earle, known for her popular “Get Ready with Me” videos, has publicly addressed past comments that sparked widespread backlash. The 23-year-old TikTok sensation took to her social media platforms on Monday, August 26 to confront the issue head-on.
“A couple of weeks ago, screenshots surfaced from my old ask.fm account showing me using a slur in the summer of 2014,” Earle confessed. “I am taking accountability and want to make it clear that I was 13 years old and did not understand the deeply offensive meaning behind that word.”
Despite being a young teen at the time, she made no excuses for her actions. “That is no excuse for using that word in any context …
