Ticketmaster confirms data breach, does not say how many customers impacted [Video]

Ticketmaster has confirmed a data breach has affected their users’ personal information, however, it will not say how many customers have been compromised. Video above: How to protect your info after Ticketmaster data breachTicketmaster has confirmed hackers have stolen personal information from their users and customers posted their notices from Ticketmaster.The notice that was sent out to customers says “An unauthorized third party obtained information from a cloud database hosted by a third-party data services provider,” between April 2 and May 18.This comes after a lawsuit was filed against Ticketmaster and Live Nation over a data breach in May. The couple filing the lawsuit claimed that “both Ticketmaster and Live Nation failed to properly secure their personal information such as full names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, ticket sales and event details, order information and partial payment card data,” according to USA Today.
