The South African Weather Service says scattered thundershowers are expected to continue across Gauteng for the next few days.
Localised flooding is also expected in low lying areas.
Motorists and residents are urged to be cautious whilst driving as well walking near streams and rivers.
“We are still expecting scattered thundershowers across Gauteng province. So, our disruptive rainfall same as today is still standing, so the alert that we have out is mostly for the localised flooding of the roads and low lying water bridges that can be flooded,” says forecaster, Celeste Fourie.
