This Jersey Shore town is the latest to start selling beach tags online [Video]

Cape May is now following its Jersey Shore neighbors in offering digital beach tags to simplify buying passes for a spot on the sand.

City officials on Wednesday announced the digital tags will be on sale immediately, making them available for single-day, three-day, weekly or seasonal visits.

It follows a trend where other beachside towns have begun selling beach tags online. Long Beach Township, Margate, Harvey Cedars, Ventnor, Sea Isle City and Ship Bottom have begun selling tags through the My Beach Mobile App.
